WorkBC Apprentice Services will be closed on Thursday, September 30th, to observe and to honour the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. September 30th is Canada’s newest statutory holiday. This day commemorates the history and ongoing trauma caused by residential schools and honours those who were lost as well as the survivors, families and communities that continue to grieve. Here are a few resources to learn more about Truth and Reconciliation with the Indigenous Peoples of Canada.
